I know people go on and on about their wedding, but Rick and I have been happily married for nearly 10 years now and a couple of years ago, with all our friends taking the plunge themselves, I wanted to have another wedding to make up for our first one, which we did to make everyone else happy, and no where near what we wanted!
We want the day to be beautiful and fun. Have all our friends and family ( the ones that we want) there and have people enjoy themselves and be relaxed, not worrying about photographers being pushy, celebrants that don't know what their doing, food going wrong cos people are allergic and the bridal party being bitches to each other. Not all of these have been my experience, and thank god, but I don't want to be a bridezilla. This is why we're planning it in 2018, just under 6 years of planning.
Rick and I love having friends and family around our place sharing in all the fun and we want that sort of atmosphere to be at our wedding.
